The 8-hour sightseeing tour to Sete Cidades begins with a visit to Miradouro Pico do Carvão, where you can admire the panoramic view of the island’s north coast. Next, the group proceeds to Aqueduto do Carvão, a historic monument dating back to the 19th century. The next stop is Lagoa do Canário, offering a stunning view.
Afterward, the tour continues to Miradouro da Boca do Inferno, known for its dramatic view of the cliffs and the ocean. Miradouro Vista do Rei is the next stop, where you can enjoy the view of the lagoon and the village of Sete Cidades. The tour proceeds to Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras, offering a different perspective of Lagoa das Sete Cidades.
The next stop is Miradouro da Lagoa de Santiago, offering an incredible view of the lagoon. The visit continues with the Church of São Nicolau, a small church dating back to the 18th century. Next, the group enjoys a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, the tour proceeds to Miradouro da Ponta do Escalvado, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the island’s south coast. The next stop is Miradouro da Lagoa do Fogo, where you can admire one of the most spectacular landscapes on the island.
Lastly, we will visit Salto do Cabrito, a marvelous waterfall hidden within the mountains of the city of Ribeira Grande.
